The two award-winning works were recognized in the categories of "Packaging Design" and "Personal Care, Health & Beauty Design," marking a significant milestone in Cymmetrik's international design journey. Following multiple iF Design Award wins, this recognition once again demonstrates Cymmetrik's ability to leverage its print technology platform to bridge subsidiary design expertise with client application needs — translating innovative concepts into market-ready products with sustainable value.

 

EcoStrip Recyclable Tea Packaging — Advancing Circular Packaging Innovation

Recognized in the "Packaging Design" category, the EcoStrip Recyclable Tea Packaging was developed as a circular packaging solution for Dancing Chá.

Cymmetrik integrated its proprietary EcoStrip de-inking technology into the packaging structure, enabling the ink layer to separate from the PET substrate during the recycling wash process — without additional chemicals or equipment upgrades. This significantly improves PET recyclability and circular value. Through print application and materials integration, Cymdesign translated the client's brand requirements into a packaging design that is visually distinctive, scalable in production, and sustainable in end-of-life — supporting Dancing Chá in advancing its packaging toward the circular economy.

 

Qi Patch — Non-Powered Wellness Patch

Recognized in the "Personal Care, Health & Beauty Design" category, the Qi Patch — Non-Powered Wellness Patch was co-developed and designed by Aqive, Cymmetrik, and Cymdesign.

With sustainable design as its core principle, the product redefines personal wellness. Through digital printing and a dry-process technique, energy patterns are integrated into an ultra-thin composite material worn directly on the skin. By removing batteries and active hardware, the result is a skin-friendly, lightweight, intuitive, and low-burden non-electronic wellness product.
