Taipei, Taiwan – Cymmetrik was honored to be invited as a business representative to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between the New Mexico Taipei Office and National Chengchi University (NCCU) on June 16th. This collaboration is set to provide invaluable opportunities for international exchange, both domestic and overseas internships, and career development. Key guests, including NCCU President Tsai-Yen Li, Director Chen Yi-Chen of the New Mexico Taipei Office, Mr. Fang Chung-Yu, Section Chief of the Los Angeles Economic and Cultural Office Political Division, and Cymmetrik Chief Strategy Officer Dr. Alex Mei, attended the signing ceremony, collectively expressing an optimistic outlook for future cross-cultural and educational synergy.
In his speech, Dr, Alex Mei emphasized that Cymmetrik, guided by its mission of "embellishing products and making life richer," has long established deep collaborative relationships with top global brands. In 2021, to expand its global footprint and strengthen supply chain resilience, Cymmetrik chose to establish a manufacturing plant in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Dr. Mei highlighted that New Mexico not only boasts an excellent geographical location near the US-Mexico border and key logistics hubs but also possesses rich industrial resources and policy support, playing a crucial role in Cymmetrik's development in the North American market.
Following the speeches, Director Chen Yi-Chen and President Tsai-Yen Li formally exchanged the MOU and jointly cut a celebratory cake, symbolizing the official launch of the partnership. This strategic alliance aims to benefit students and the industrial sector by providing invaluable domestic and international internship opportunities, promoting cultural exchange, establishing connections with the New Mexico government and business community, and cultivating international talents.
Cymmetrik is proud to have participated in this signing ceremony, as it aligns perfectly with our strategies for global expansion and nurturing international talent. We anticipate that this collaboration will not only build a valuable bridge for industry-academia cooperation and positively impact the industrial development landscape but also make significant contributions to future Taiwan-US economic and trade cooperation and academic exchange.
