Cymmetrik Actualizes Smart Packaging Technology, Securing Food Safety with Industry and Education Sectors

2020.05.08
As part of its mission “Embellishing products and enriching life”, Cymmetrik accepted an invitation from Taiwan's National Ilan University to jointly develop smart packaging technologies that'll help protect food safety.

National Ilan University has been awarded the “Applying Smart Technology to Agricultural Production” project plan from the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the TTI (Time Temperature Indicator) labels used in its Cold Chain Management System is the brainchild of Cymmetrik printing technology.  On smart packaging, the label displays the product's accumulated storage period and its temperature history, resolving many situations when it's near impossible to make such judgements based solely on product appearance.  This proved to be an effective solution to reducing both product waste and food safety risks, and helps greatly in cold chain management quality assurance.

Through on-site visits to Cymmetrik production facilities and understanding Cymmetrik's production processes and printing techniques, Ministry of Science and Technology inspection commissioners became deeply impressed with Cymmetrik's innovative supremacy.  And by way of introductions from Dr. Eric Liu, Senior Director at Cymmetrik's Medical Products Division, the commissioners gained further understanding of how Cymmetrik starts from an industry viewpoint, works through professional craftsmanship, and coordinates closely with academia, research facilities and other related sectors to advance the state of food quality and safety.

Cymmetrik focuses on developing special printing technologies, making the most of its “people-oriented” spirit and mission, strengthening industry applications while keeping up with market trends in innovation, and pursuing cross-industry collaborations to create new opportunities in a broad range of industries.  Through applied printing, Cymmetrik does its best to imbue products with life—and to beautify consumers' lives.
