Thirty Years, Beyond the Print —Cymmetrik Shenzhen Celebrates 30 Years & Sets Its Sights on the Next Chapter

On April 22nd, Cymmetrik's Shenzhen facility celebrated its 30th  anniversary. Established in 1996, the Shenzhen factory was Cymmetrik's second manufacturing base on the Chinese mainland, following the Shanghai factory, and has been central to the company's presence in South China ever since. What began as single-substrate label manufacturing has evolved into a wide range of value-added applications, and through it all, the Shenzhen facility has remained one of the most important pillars of Cymmetrik's global operations.

To mark the occasion, the facility hosted a large-scale anniversary celebration and banquet attended by senior executives and key management from Cymmetrik's headquarters and international locations. The event blended the traditional with the contemporary: lion and dragon dancing opened proceedings, followed by a martial arts showcase inspired by the classic Chinese novel Water Margin. The ceremony's centerpiece was the joint unveiling by the Chairman and CEO of a commemorative monument created for the anniversary. At its heart, a scroll bearing the phrase「不忘初心」or to never forget one's original intention no matter how far the journey takes you.

The evening continued with speeches from senior leaders, who looked back on thirty years of growth and took the opportunity to thank the colleagues and partners who have been part of the journey. Following the speeches was a staff performance— including a memorable turn from the management team themselves, who took to the stage together for a song-and-dance act. The night closed with a robotics dance performance, a fitting final statement about where Cymmetrik is headed: into a future defined by intelligent manufacturing, constant innovation, and the belief that tradition and technology are strongest together.

Thirty years is a milestone worth celebrating — and the starting point for everything that comes next.
